I finished my Bachelor of Science in Information Technology at EARIST in September 2024, and I've been building on that foundation ever since — real projects, not just coursework.
My first real taste of production software came during my internship at Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center, where I joined a 3-person team building a full-stack Job Request System from the ground up using PHP, MySQL, and HTML/CSS. It was the kind of project that teaches you fast: I wasn't just writing code, I was testing it end-to-end, documenting it for staff who had never touched the system before, and watching real people use what we built to cut down their paperwork.
Since October 2025, I've also been working independently with a local business client, building and maintaining their website on WordPress and Elementor. It's a smaller, quieter kind of project than the hospital system, but it taught me a different skill: owning a client relationship end-to-end, from first draft to ongoing updates.
That combination shaped how I think about development — a feature isn't done when it compiles, it's done when someone who isn't technical can actually use it. I try to carry that into everything I build.
